About this document
A software licence agreement lets a licensee install and use software owned by a licensor, within limits. It identifies the software and version, what the licence permits and its limits, what is forbidden, whether source code is provided, the term and fee, delivery, keys and activation, updates, support and what happens when it ends.
This blank form is completed by hand and signed by both sides. It is for software supplied to a customer, as opposed to a hosted service or an end-user click-through. It lists open-source and third-party components under their own licences, and gives limited confirmations, not promises that the software is error-free.
