About this document
A notice of intent to enter tells a tenant that the landlord proposes to enter the premises on a stated date and time, and why: an inspection, a repair, servicing an appliance, a showing or a safety check. It names who will attend, what will be done, whether the tenant may be present and how to rearrange.
This blank form is a letter to complete by hand. Rules on when a landlord may enter, what notice is needed, what hours and reasons are allowed and what happens in an emergency differ by state and sometimes city, so the form leaves the notice period as a statement of what you give and does not say what is lawful. Check the rules where the property is.
