Key features
Limits on the agent's authority
A clear statement of what the agent may not do on the principal's behalf unless the principal agrees in writing.
Commission worked out your way
A percentage, what it is worked out on, when it counts as earned and when it is paid, with a statement showing the calculation.
Cancelled orders and unpaid customers
A blank for whether commission is not payable or repayable if an order is cancelled or the customer does not pay.
Commission after the agency ends
The agent keeps commission on orders accepted before the end, and on orders from its customers accepted within a period you fill in.
Expenses
The agent bears its own costs, except those approved in writing in advance.
About this document
An agency agreement appoints someone to seek orders for a business's products or services. The agent introduces customers and earns commission but does not buy the goods and cannot commit the principal.
The form makes that limit explicit: the agent may pass on orders but may not accept them, agree prices or give warranties without written agreement. You complete the blanks by hand.
