About this document

An agreement for the sale of property records that a seller will sell, and a buyer will buy, a described property on stated terms: the legal description, what is included, the price and deposit, how the buyer is paying, title and surveys, inspections, repairs, closing and possession, costs, existing tenants and what happens if either side does not complete.

This blank form is signed by seller and buyer and leaves every figure, date and period for them to agree. Real estate sales are governed by state law and local practice, including how a contract must be signed, what disclosures must be made, who holds the deposit and how closing works, and many sales use state-specific forms or an agent or attorney. Ask a lawyer before you sign.
